The Faith and Mental Health Project was developed by Lindsay Robinson and she is the founder and manager of www.faithandmentalhealth.co.uk, following researching and co-authoring the Faith and Mental Health 'Call to Action' in June 2021.
Lindsay is also the founder of Have you seen that girl? a movement dedicated to maternal and parental mental health and wellbeing. She’s a blogger, writer, speaker and an Award Winning Mental Health Campaigner for Maternal Mental Health services across the UK.
She’s passionate about Faith and Mental Health and engaging churches & faith communities in conversations about what they can and should be doing around this issue. Lindsay has a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy and a Graduate Diploma in Theology. She is also a Qualified Mental Health First Aider.
Lindsay and Deborah met during the research for the 'Call to Action' and Deborah spoke at it's launch event. Together they have been teamed up to create both the Faith and Mental Health Course and Workshop.
Deborah Nelson is the founder of Impossible Mental Health is a Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Practice based in Belfast. She is a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, as well as a Specialist Nurse Practitioner in Forensic Mental Healthcare. Deborah has 20 years’ experience working in acute mental health, brain injury, community mental health, forensic and prison mental health which ensures her expertise in understanding people and mental health.
Deborah's underlying foundation of all her work is a passion for reducing stigma around mental health. None of us know what tomorrow will bring and Deborah hopes that one day soon mental health will be as openly accepted as physical health.

*The funding for Phase 2 of the Faith and Mental Health Project (Sep 2021 - Feb 2022) is partly provided through part of an Awards for All grant, awarded to Left Side Up for their ongoing work in the area of faith and mental health. We thank them both for their support.*
